ABOUT ROSE

Rose Messenger is a twenty-two year old singer, actor, and writer. Originally from New Brunswick, Canada, Rose is based in New York City after graduating from the BFA Musical Theatre program at The University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (CCM).

Rose continues to work in both the United States and Canada. Recent credits include Mrs. Lovett in "Sweeney Todd" at Black Rock Theatre (Fairfield, CT), Josie Pye in "Anne and Gilbert" at The Island Festival (Charlottetown, PEI), "Cinderella" at Westport Country Playhouse (Westport, CT), Bea Bottom in CCM’s production of "Something Rotten", and this fall, Rose joins the Canadian company of the hit Off-Broadway production "Titanique" as Background Vocalist, u/s Celine Dion, Rose Dewitt-Bukater, and Unsinkable Molly Brown with Mirvish Productions (Toronto, ON) and The Segal Centre (Montreal, QC).

Rose is also a skilled and passionate songwriter and musician. She is currently in the process of writing/recording her first debut EP, and you can find a collection of her original music on her TikTok account where she posts preview clips. In her spare time, Rose enjoys reading her favorite books, playing the piano and guitar, spending time with her family and friends, and researching/dreaming about her next traveling adventure!
